Chain Saw Safety Notes:
- At least 2 personnel must be on site when a chainsaws is in use.
- When operating chainsaw, be aware of the stress of the item being cut.
- Pinching may result on compression side & sudden break may result on tension side.
- Do not use any faulty equipment.
Before Use
- Chain tension. Adjust if necessary.
- Chain brake is working.
- That the chain is sharp.
- That the handles are dry, clean and free from oil or fuel mixtures.

Chainsaw Refuelling

Allow at least two minutes for the saw to cool down prior to re-fuelling.

Avoid spilling fuel or oil. Spilled fuel must be immediately cleaned up.

Move the chainsaw at least 3 metres from the fuelling point before starting the engine.
