The Brick Laying Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 12 page procedure outlining the safety steps of Brick Laying. 

The Brick Laying procedure is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System. 

The Brick Laying procedure can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.

When Brick Laying:

• All employees involved within Bricklaying should be qualified / trained labourers.
• Ensure the Mixer is positioned in the vehicle to avoid damage.
• Ensure that all tools are adequately restrained.
• Ensure that a trained first aid officer is always within the team involved in bricklaying activities.
