Pre Operational Inspection

Booth and components - Ensure :

No ignition sources within 6 m.
No smoking (signs are in place).
All unnecessary items removed from booth.
Dust has not accumulated around booth (could be a sign of insufficient extraction).
Extraction is sufficient.
Interlock system (if installed) is functional.
Equipment, stitches and light fittings are clean.
Collection units working and recycled filtered air is clean.
All components are earthed (including manually operated guns) and all cables are intact.
Explosion relief valves functional - not blocked.
Filters replaced/cleaned as required.
System is air - tight (use bright light with parallel beam to determine if dust is escaping from duct work/collection unit).
Compliance plate attached and legible.
Fire protection equipment accessible and functional.
