Pre Operational Inspection

Inspect sander. Ensure:

• Instructions for safe use available and legible.
• Controls are labelled and functional
• Power cord undamaged/good condition
• No trip, slip hazards present in work area
• No exposed moving parts
• Sanding belt in good condition and tightly fitted
• Belt guards in place and undamaged
• Motor guards in place and undamaged
• Locking devices (between horizontal and vertical placement) available and functional
• Table positioned correctly for job.

Note: Do not position table below sanding belt. Overlap at least 10mm to avoid material or fingers getting caught.
