• adequate lighting
• sufficient room for employee and materials
• suitable work platform
• suitable weather conditions
• traffic management controls are in place where required (barriers, exclusion zones etc)
• location is not in close proximity to other hazardous works (hot works, excavating, work overhead etc)
• Fall risks are mitigated (barriers, fall prevention etc)
• Emergency/Rescue Plan in place
