Pre-operational Inspection:
Conduct visual inspection. Ensure:
- Throttle trigger moves freely and springs back to idle
- Drill bit correct for job, secure with no missing/loose nuts, screws
- Drill bit / chuck not cracked, bent, or warped
- Handle/grips undamaged and free of oil/dirt
- Guards in place and undamaged
- Unit clean and free of dust/dirt etc
- Anti-vibration (AV) system in place
- Electric lead attached securely, no exposed wires or damage along entire length, including plug
- RCD protection used
