The Roof Edge Protection Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 13 page procedure. This SWMS covers general aspects associated with installation, use and subsequent dismantling of roof edge protection systems.

It does not include scaffolds used for perimeter protection. A site-specific SWMS must be developed for installation and dismantling of the system, and for use of specific height access equipment (such as particular Elevated Work Platform – EWP, or fall arrest systems).

The Roof Edge Protection Work Method Statement (WMS) is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System.

The Roof Edge Protection Work Method Statement can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.

The Roof Edge Protection SWMS includes:
  • PPE
