Preparation
Assemble trenching attachment onto backhoe as per manufacturer’s instructions.
Check that trencher is attached correctly:

Ensure hitching points are secured/tightened.

Ensure locking pins are in place and engaged.
Prepare intended work site:
-
clear debris, waste, tools or other potential tripping/entanglement hazards.

establish an exclusion zone (no less than 10m from dig area).

clear surface obstructions (grass clumps, rocks, shrubs/weeds etc).

clear people from area.
