The six page Safe Work Procedure outlines the Safety Steps required to operate a Concrete Crusher Safely.
This Procedure or Work Method Statement has been developed for employers to be able to give direct instructions on how to use a Concrete Crusher Safely.
The document can be used as part of an Induction Process, submitted with a tender or simply implemented into your existing OHS System.
When Using a Concrete Crusher:
- Ensure that there are no personnel close to the crusher before moving it.
- Be aware that material does not build up around the crusher.
- Always plan so the crusher located as close to the material pile as possible.
- Regularly check that all guards and protective devices are undamaged and in place.
- Ensure that un-crushable material is prevented from entering the crusher.
