Photography Booth - Mobile Information:
The Photography Booth - Mobile Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 8 page procedure.
This SMWS covers general safety issues involved with mobile photography booths (such as Santa booth) for operation within a Shopping Centre, where photos are printed from a photo-quality printer. This does not include the development of photographs using chemicals.
The Photography Booth - Mobile procedure is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System.
The Photography Booth - Mobile Work Method Statement can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.
Preparation
Ensure employees are provided with clear guidance and training relating to the following:
- Cash handling procedures
- Hold-up/ Robbery procedures
- Dealing with members of the public (particularly, how to diffuse a potentially aggressive situation).
Ensure the following is provided:
- Communication equipment (including emergency contact information – such as centre security, police etc)
- Suitable First Aid Kit and access to trained first aid providers.
Establish written procedures for dealing with clients. Include:
- Behaviours that will not be tolerated (yelling, abuse etc) from clients
- No storage of client’s bags/belongings
- No lifting children (parents/guardians must do this)
- Restricted client areas etc
