Transport of Pump Unit

• Ensure suitable forklift used for lifting unit onto trailer/tray:
  • Sufficient SWL
  • Serviced/Maintained
  • Operator licensed
• Park transport vehicle in suitable location, clear of traffic and obstructions such as trees and overhead power lines.
• Ensure all pedestrians are removed from area during loading. No persons to stand on tray or trailer during loading.
• Load onto vehicle as per manufacturer's instructions. Ensure pallets are in good condition before using to assist with lift.
• Ensure loading position allows for easy access to hoses, refuelling equipment, and air intake/outtake ports as required.
• Secure unit and hoses for travel. Ensure items cannot move during transit.
• When travelling with unit, be aware of any increase in braking distance required from weight of unit.
