Sheet Metal Roller Safe Work Method Statement:
The Sheet Metal Roller Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 5 page procedure outlining the safety steps for using a Sheet Metal Roller.
The Sheet Metal Roller procedure is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand.
It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System. The Sheet Metal Roller procedure can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.
Clean up & maintenance :
- Switch off the machine and remove power supply (isolate from power).
- Clean work area (Use gloves to handle scrap).
Note : Sheet metal edges are sharp.
- Inspect for damage. If damaged, tag out plant and report immediately.
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions for regular maintenance and servicing.
- Ensure any guards removed during maintenance are replaced and secured.
