Airless Spray Gun Safety Information:
The Airless Spray Gun Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 9 page procedure outlining the safety steps for use of an Airless Spay Gun. Spray painting should be undertaken in a suitable spray booth. Outdoor spraying would be suitable for small touch-up jobs, one-off jobs (of less than 5mins hour per hour), or where items are too large to fit into a booth (such as large machinery etc).
Never spray isocyanate-containing paints (such as two-pack paints) outdoors.
The Airless Spray Gun procedure is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System.
The Airless Spray Work Method Statement can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.
