Mobile Crane Operation Safety Notes

When Operating a Mobile Crane:

  • Correct training should include: Legislative Requirements, Safe Work Procedures, Fitting Of Personal Protective Equipment, and Manual Handling
  • Check for any previous unintended crane stoppages, or faults found with the crane using the log book.
  • A load chart must be available for the crane in use and for the loads being lifted.
  • Always inspect boom hoist lockout and other operator aids.
