Before Operating A Four Wheeler In Remote Areas:
- If Vehicle is over 8 tonnes GVM with 2 axles then a Medium Rigid Licence is required.
- Check the vehicle is regularly maintained and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations
- Tyre pressure should be checked when tyres are cold, before vehicle is operated.
- Before starting motor, ensure transmission is in neutral and check throttle and brakes for proper operation.
