Router Safety Notes
Before Operating A Router:
- No person may be permitted to operate a router unless they have been trained in its safe use or is working under the supervision of an experienced operator.
- Routers should be secured in a purpose made box or other form of protection to ensure that they are not damaged.
- Ensure routers are not used in damp wet locations.
- When machining small sections of timber, jigs, clamps and other aids should be utilised to avoid injury.
