General Mitre Saw Safety Information:
The Mitre Saw or Compound Drop Saw Safe Work Method Statement is a 6 page Safety procedure covering the risks involved with using a Mitre Saw and the control measures to counter those risks.
Before Operating A Mitre Saw:
- Set it up in a location that is clear of others, has sufficient light, a near by source of power and comfortable room.
- Always ensure all appropriate PPE is worn
- Use the non-preferred hand to hold timber the in place.
- Never cross arms whilst using the saw.
