This SWMS is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall WHS System.
Additional Security personnel on site to ensure no unauthorised access by general public while work is being performed.
Additional temporary barriers near edges / steps / trenches etc. if the area is dark & worker may fall.
Mark edges of large equipment with fluoro tape if possible.
Keep work area tidy to minimise trip hazards. Keep access to work zones, stairways, walkways clear of tools and equipment.
If tools are dropped, they need to be picked up straight away to avoid workers from tripping or falling on them.
Panels need to be well lit prior to lifting/erecting and inspected to check for damage that may have occurred during transporting. Engineer to certify that the panels are ready to lift.
Use additional voice commands when required to ensure everyone knows when the lifting and installing sequence is underway.
On completion: All tools and equipment to be packed away and accounted for. Do not leave tools or equipment where people may be injured by it.
