Make Safe Fire Damaged Structure Safe Work Method Statement

This SWMS is created in response to the needs of first respondents for ‘making safe’ tasks after an emergency event. As such, this SWMS may refer to additional high-risk SWMS for further detail. 

This SWMS provides guidance on making fire damaged premises temporarily safe and secure. The SWMS covers the temporary support of walls and roofs, boarding up of windows and doors. Refer to companion SWMS for securing ceilings, damaged roofs and perimeter temporary fencing.
