Linisher Safe Operating Procedure Extract Only

  • Connect dust extraction equipment
  • Turn ON the dust extractor prior to commencing the job
  • Ensure to check that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed before turning the Linisher on
  • Turn ON the Linisher and allow the Linisher to reach its full speed (RPM’s) before sanding
    • Ensure that the correct grade sandpaper has been selected for the work being performed
    • Always be sure to sand against the direction of the disk
  • Grinding:
  • You have a firm grip on the workpiece (The work should not vibrate in your hands)
  • Hands and fingers are well clear of abrasive belt
  • Excessive pressure is not applied to the belt or wheel while grinding. Let the belt and wheel do the work
  • Utilise the full width of the belt while grinding
  • Dip work piece in water or allow cooling regularly if getting hot.
