Undertaking a JSA enables those involved in the work task / activity to identify hazards that may be present and establish safety control measures (preventative measures) to precent harm to life, health, property or the environment.
A JSA Worksheet assists in assessing the risks of doing a job. A Job Safety Analysis should be completed upon arrival on site with the purpose of identifying site-specific hazards present on the day.

Our organisation was using a cumbersome JSA template which was incorporated a complex risk assessment matrix. SafetyCulture's template is consistent with the risk assessment matrix used in the SWMS template which creates consistency across our WHS documents.
